My name is Betsy Hawkins. I have been the owner and Sr. Consultant of Silverhawk Solutions, Inc. since August 2010.
I am often asked if I chose the name Silverhawk Solutions because of my hair color (Silver) and last name (Hawkins.) My partial answer is “Yes.” The name also reflects my deepest passion --- to effectively and compassionately shine the light on what is getting in the way of a person, team or organization’s highest vision. My unique skill is seeing what workplace behaviors are needed for success AND helping to create a clear path towards demonstrating them each day.
I have 30 years of experience as a Human Resource leader in health care, insurance, higher education and telecommunications. I have partnered with incredible leaders and their teams to address complex organizational challenges that require innovative and effective people practices. While I have had many successes in my career, I am most grateful for the many failures and lessons learned along my journey. I bring these lessons to my consulting practice as well as a deep curiosity to help discover a better way.
